The 31st Grand Prize for Medium-Sized Businesses 2025 was awarded on Saturday, September 13, 2025, in Würzburg. Maschinenfabrik Alfing Kessler GmbH (MAFA) is now one of the TOP 5 companies in Baden-Württemberg to receive this award as a finalist. With over 4,000 companies nominated, this coveted award has a huge impact. Under the motto “Mastering turbulent times,” the Oskar Patzelt Foundation competition highlights what makes German SMEs so special: resilience, innovation, and cohesion. “It's not just turnover that counts here, but the holistic development of a company – sustainability, future orientation, and social added value.” Now in its 31st year, the award continues to inspire nationwide resonance, supported by ministries, associations, chambers, and companies that honor their partners for reliable cooperation. Maschinenfabrik Alfing Kessler GmbH was selected as a finalist among the TOP 5 SMEs in Baden-Württemberg due to its high innovative strength, future orientation, economic significance, exemplary social commitment, and promotion of creativity and employee involvement.
