Below we explain what data we collect when you visit our website, how we process it and what rights you are entitled to.

1. Person in charge

2. Personal Data

Personal data is data about the personal or factual circumstances of a specific or identifiable natural person. This includes, for example, your name, your address, your e-mail address, your date of birth or your telephone number.

3. Collection and processing of personal data

We only collect personal data from you with your express consent or to the extent that this is necessary to provide a functioning website.
Maschinenfabrik Alfing Kessler GmbH is expressly committed to so-called "data minimisation” under Art.5 c) of the GDPR. We limit the collection of personal data to what is necessary and appropriate for the purpose of processing.

We only use the personal data you have provided with your consent to fulfill your request. The legal basis for data processing with your consent is Art. 6(1)(A) of GDPR.

Your browser transmits the following information to us: Browser type/version, operating system used, name of the retrieved file, amount of data transferred, notification of successful retrieval, referrer URL (the previously visited page), host name of the accessing computer (IP address), time of the server request, screen resolution. The data transmitted by the browser is only used to operate the website. The legal basis for data processing for the operation of the website is Art. 6(1)(F) of GDPR.

4. Duration of data storage, data deletion

Personal data will be deleted if knowledge of them is no longer required for the purposes for which they were collected or processed, unless statutory provisions require longer storage. Personal data will also be deleted if deletion is required by law.

5. Location of data storage

Personal data is stored and processed exclusively in data centers within the scope of the GDPR. 

6. Disclosure of Personal Data

Your personal data will only be passed on to third parties or otherwise transmitted if you have given your prior express consent, this is necessary for the fulfillment of a contract, this is due to a service in the context of order data processing or the transmission is required due to legal requirements. Your personal data will not be sold.

7. Your rights 

You have the following rights towards us for your personal data:

  • the right to request information (see Section 8),
  • the right to data portability (see Section 9),
  • the right to delete (see Section 10),
  • the right to revoke a given consent (see Section 11),
  • the right to correct your personal data, to restrict the processing of your personal data and to object to the processing of your personal data.

In addition, you have the right to complain to a supervisory authority about illegal data collection and data processing. Regardless of the responsibility of other data protection supervisory authorities, you can contact the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information in Baden-Württemberg. 8. Right to information

You have the right to request information from us about the personal data stored about you at any time. 

9. Data portability

You have the right to transfer the personal data concerning you to another person in charge. We will make the data available to you or to someone named by you in a structured, common and machine-readable format. As far as technically possible, personal data can also be transmitted directly to another person responsible at your request. 

10. Right to Deletion

You have the right to have your personal data stored by us deleted. 

11. Revocation of a given consent

You have the right to revoke your consent to us at any time with effect for the future. 

The revocation of the consent does not affect the legality of the processing carried out based on the consent up to the point of revocation.

12. E-mail contact

If you contact us via the e-mail address provided by us, the personal data transmitted with the e-mail will be saved. The legal basis for processing the data is Art. 6 (1) (f) of GDPR. If the e-mail is aimed at concluding a contract, the legal basis is also Article 6 (1) (b) of GDPR. In the case of personal data, these are processed exclusively for the purpose intended with the transmission. 

13. Application portal

An application portal has been set up on our website. You can use this to apply for advertised positions with us or independently and submit your application documents. The personal data you have provided will be transmitted. Mandatory information for an application is your following personal data: Salutation, first and last name, date of birth, nationality, address and e-mail address. The date and time of transmission are also saved.

Your consent will be obtained for the transmission and processing of the data. The legal basis for the processing of your data is Article 6(1)(a) of GDPR, or otherwise Article 6(1)(f) of GDPR.

Your personal data will be deleted four months after completion of the recruitment process for the advertised positions, unless we conclude an employment contract with you. In the case of unsolicited applications, we will delete your personal data four months after receipt of your application, unless an employment contract is concluded. 

You have the option of consenting to your personal data being stored in our pool of applicants for a longer period of time and being taken into account when filling vacancies. In this case, the data will be deleted no later than 24 months after transmission to us. 

Your rights, to which you are referred in this data protection declaration, remain unaffected.

14. Use of cookies

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. By enabling IP anonymisation on this website, your IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. 

The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. 

You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly. In this case, you may not be able to fully use all functions of this website.
