One of our core competencies is the hardening of crankshafts. The hardening machines division was created in 1952 with independent planning, construction, assembly and sales of our inductive hardening systems in order to expand the existing product portfolio. This product is used by well-known engine manufacturers more than 500 times worldwide. Complex geometries for various components can be inductively hardened and tempered using state-of-the-art technology and know-how.
Gas nitriding is carried out with ammonia using the latest gas chamber furnaces. These defined thermochemical processes can be used for components with a wide variety of geometries up to a length of 3 m.
During carbonitriding, the components are treated with ammonia and additional carbon dioxide, which means that significantly shorter process times can be achieved.
